Learning is experience. Everything else is just information.
- Albert Einstein

Your child will develop a foundation for lifelong literacy through storytelling and puppetry, poetry and verse, individual lap time with a book and music on a daily basis.
In our daycare and preschool your child will experience:
  • Caregivers joyfully engaged in household activities such as cooking, crafting, gardening and woodworking with a pace and rhythm suited to a child's unfolding abilities.

  • Involvement in all caregiving activities to allow the child to become an active participant rather than a passive recipient.

  • A developmentally-appropriate acquisition of pre-academic skills needed for reading, math, and science.

  • A variety of experiential and sensorial opportunities through nature exploration and the creative arts.

  • Plenty of uninterrupted playtime to promote concentration and long attention span.

  • Imaginations enlivened with traditional songs and games, stories, fingergames and puppet plays.

  • Freedom of movement for infants as well as toddlers to encourage healthy physical development.

  • An environmentally conscious household committed to preserving resources for the future.
